Elena here cannot be telepathied (shut up it's a word) or compelled -- she's a vampire, and can actually compel people herself and she doesn't even have to touch them, neener neener my compulsion is better than yours!!!

Dana (catatonics) can be compelled but not telepathied, and Wanda (ensouls) is the same!

idk if Steel would feel any weirdness from any of them, but just in case -- Elena is, as mentioned, a vampire, Dana's a werewolf, and Wanda's an alien hitching a ride in a human body. If he would know anything about any of that, he's free to pick up on weirdness!
